What is public housing in Little Rock? Public Housing is subsidized assistance
for residents of LRHA-owned properties. LRHA manages and maintains 837 apartment
units. These rental units are located at five developments throughout City Center,
and are available to eligible low-income families, seniors and people with disabilities.

How affordable is Public Housing?
Rent Payment: The formula used in determining rental payment is the highest
of the following: 30% of monthly adjusted income (after allowed deductions) 10%
of monthly income ($50 minimum rent) Flat Rent (varies by property) Program income
limits are determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
How Long a Wait for Public Housing?
This will vary depending on the site. As part of Assets Management, we operate
by Site Based Waiting list. Applicants are placed on a waiting list at the property
by the manager according to unit size, and date and time of application. LRHA sites
include the following.
